Hello all,
Well, it is official. The sporting clays event will be a standing event for the OKC chapter. We had a great time. Congratulations to Sean Hickey on winning the gun from the clay raffle. The weather didn’t really cooperate, but we got to shoot and then had a great lunch thanks to Justin Lukasek for cooking. To top the day off, we had Erick Freeberg speak on hunter’s safety. All the pictures are available on the website, take a look.
The student section had the first annual burger bash on October 21st. This event was to help recruit new student members, as well as, raise money for the endowment scholarship. Casey Roberts attended the event to represent the professional side of the chapter. Thanks to the students that are trying to make a difference with our scholarship.
Our next meeting is November 10th in
Stillwater. You have until November 6th to
RSVP. Warren Brown, society president, will
be speaking. Greg Smith, region three vice
president, is also planning to attend. This is a
great time to get to know the society and
regional officers as well as the Tulsa
members, and student members from OSU
and UCO. Enogex is sponsoring our chapter’s portion of the dinner so come and get some good food and great entertainment. Things will start getting back to normal in December with a 70E update. The meeting will be held at Francis Tuttle. Details will follow at a later date.

$500 Attendance Incentive
Okay, its time for the chapter to put its money where its mouth is. Monday June 11th we will be giving the attendance incentive prize away. To jog your memory, the chapter is giving a $500 gift card to one lucky member that has attended a minimum of five of the year’s first nine meetings and is present at Monday’s meeting. We are really excited about the drawing and hope to see everyone there. Someone has to win it, might just be you.
