December Chapter Meeting

Our December meeting will involve our annual Toys for Tots campaign and a benchmarking / best practices session. Please plan on participating even if you can’t attend the meeting scheduled for December 9^th at the Francis Tuttle Reno Campus.

Toys for Tots may be dropped off at the Oklahoma Safety Council’s Oklahoma City office located at 2400 South Vermont, zip code 73108 or you may bring them to the Sporting Clay event on November 4^th or the Joint Meeting at OSU in Stillwater on November 17^th.  Let’s make this year’s donation record setting.

The technical session of the meeting will provide an opportunity to benchmark and explore best practices with your peers. To prepare for the session we need your questions in advance of our December meeting.  Again, you don’t need to be present to participate.  Submitted questions will be placed into a Turning Point presentation that utilizes audience response cards to poll attendees with respect to the presented questions.

The questions and answers will be graphically displayed on the screen followed by group discussion led by moderators. After the meeting, the questions and polling results will be collected and distributed to the membership.

So what questions do you have that you would like to ask your peers? The following are example questions that might be of interest:

1. Does your company have a safe driving policy? Yes / No
2. Does your policy include distracted driving? Yes / No
3. Does your policy / procedure prohibit the use of all electronic communication devices? Yes / No
4. If you answered no, what is allowed?
