May Meeting
The chapter has two meetings scheduled for May.
The first meeting is scheduled for Friday evening, May 4th at 6:00 P.M. Robert Williams has arranged for the Noble foundation to provide meeting space and dinner. Dinner and the meeting will be in the lower level training room of the admin building. Driving directions are also included on the attached link. It is building 1 on the campus map: http://www.noble.org/about/directions/
The agenda will include opening remarks by Robert Williams and I will be speaking on Hazard Recognition and Risk Assessment. For dinner planning purposes, please RSVP.
The second meeting will be on Friday, May 11th at 11:00 A.M. at the OGE Mustang Power Plant, 501 Mustang Plant Road, OKC, 73127 (Between Council and Morgan Road just South of 10th street). For Security purposes this meeting will also require an RSVP. The meeting will start at 11:00 with lunch followed by a plant tour, but in order to clear security and start on time please arrive between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m.
A big thanks to Robert Williams of the Noble Foundation and Casey Roberts, OGE Mustang Power Plant for hosting these chapter meetings and providing dinner and lunch.

ASSE Foundation Scholarships
The ASSE Foundation has more than $100,000 to be awarded to undergraduate and graduate SH&E college students. They also have about $8,000 in Professional Development Grant funds available for ASSE members to improve their SH&E skills. Applications can be found on the ASSE Foundation Web Site. The deadline for these applications is December 1st. |
