ASP Examination Preparation WorkshopFebruary 23-25, 2010 - Francis Tuttle Technology Center, Oklahoma City, OK Presented by Langlois, Weigland & Associates and sponsored by the Oklahoma City Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers. This is a three-day review course for those preparing for the Safety Fundamentals Examination, leading to the designation of Associate Safety Professional (ASP). This course is an excellent review for those desiring to:
Class will be conducted from 8 am to 5 pm each day at Francis Tuttle Technology Center, Rockwell Campus, 12777 N. Rockwell, OKC, OK. Building 2, (Economic Development) Room 1140. Registration is limited to the first 40 participants for the Workshop. There are only 10 seats reserved for the student rate. The Workshop will be cancelled if there are less than 15 participants for the course. Early Registration ends on January 15, 2010. Oklahoma City Chapter Members Honored at Safety 2009$500 Meeting Attendance Incentive DrawingTo be eligible for the drawing, you must be a current member and attend 5 of the first 9 monthly Chapter meetings. The winner will be drawn at the 10th meeting in June and you must be present at the June meeting to win. The official record of your attendance at each meeting will be the “sign-in” sheet, so make sure you sign in! Student members, visitors and elected Chapter officers (President, President-Elect, Treasurer, Secretary and Delegates) will not be eligible to participate in the drawing. For more information, see our Meeting Calendar page. ASSE Foundation ScholarshipsThe ASSE Foundation has more than $100,000 to be awarded to undergraduate and graduate SH&E college students. They also have about $8,000 in Professional Development Grant funds available for ASSE members to improve their SH&E skills. Applications can be found on the ASSE Foundation Web Site. The deadline for these applications is December 1st.
